We are pleased to announce the special exhibition “Hiroko Koshino × Kazi Ghiyasuddin TURN THE TIDE” at KH Gallery Ashiya.
Kazi Ghiyasuddin, a native of Bangladesh, has been actively creating artwork while moving between his homeland and Japan. Hiroko Koshino, deeply rooted in Japanese aesthetics, continues to pursue her unique form of artistic expression. Their initial collaborative exhibition in 2016, which brought together artists from distinct backgrounds, provided each with a fresh perspective and inspired broader avenues for their work.
Now in their third collaboration, this exhibition captures their shared drive for transformation, presented here as the “power to turn the tide.” We invite you to explore the essence of their free and unrestrained brushwork, where the full range of human emotions—joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness—are expressed through colors, shapes, blurs, and flows. We hope you’ll join us in experiencing these remarkable works.
In addition, we are pleased to host a reception party organized by Hiroko Koshino. Attendance is open to everyone on a first-come, first-served reservation basis. We look forward to welcoming you.

As of today, 26th August, the Japan Meteorological Agency has forecast that Typhoon No. 10 will approach and make landfall in western Japan on Thursday 29 and Friday 30 August.
As there is a high probability that the roads around KH Gallery Ashiya will be closed due to traffic restrictions, the gallery will be temporarily closed on Thursday 29 and Friday 30 August.
