KH Gallery Ginza will hold the exhibition entitled “Hiroko Koshino -New Creations of Traditional Performing Arts”.
Koshino is an accredited performer of Nagauta Shamisen. In the national competition of Nagauta Kinekatsukai which will be held
in the Tokyo Kabukiza Theatre in late April this year, she will draw the stage background for the Shokyokushu medley.
This exhibition will present the new original ink paintings for the stage background, as well as Koshino’s works related to traditional culture such as lacquerware and kimono. Please enjoy the new creations that perceive Japanese traditional performing arts and culture with a modern aesthetic sense.
